CARTRIDGES

TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CARTRIDGE

  • Always keep your cart upright. Setting your pen in a cup or stand will help prevent unwanted leaks.

  • You should never leave your cart in your car. During the summer, the temperature inside your car can get hot enough to cause your cart to leak. During the winter, your cart can get too cold and plug up. Any extreme temperature changes will negatively impact your cartridge’s life.

  • Sometimes with a plugged cart, you can gently use a toothpick or paperclip to loosen the plug. With live resin carts, they are thicker than a distillate cart, and if they get a little chilly will plug. Sometimes by simply holding your cart in the palm of your hand, it will warm it up enough to unplug your cart.

  • If you are someone who keeps your pen in your pocket, it is a good idea to power it off. When inside your pocket, it can accidentally power on and burn up your cartridge.

  • By keeping the voltage on your pen lower, you will get a more robust draw from your cartridge. Not only that, but you will extend the life of your cart.

AIR FLOW

One of the best ways to ensure a great draw from any cartridge is to not over-tighten your cartridge.

If you look closely at the bottom of your cart by the threads, you will see tiny holes. These holes are for adjusting your airflow.

If you slowly back off your cart, you can align the holes with the small indents on most batteries and increase the airflow to your cart.
